Turangga Farm’s well credentialed young sire Trusting posted his first Australian winner over the weekend with an easy Gold Coast victory for Trust Misty.
The three year old-filly relished the good ground to race away and win by two lengths over 1800 metres.
Trust Misty is the third winner from three foals to ace from Not Another Misty, who comes from the family of stakes-winners River Mist and Plain Magic.
She is the first Australian winner for Trusting, who has also sired a winner in Macau in Tous Sweet.
Trusting has also sired an additional six placegetters from a limited number of runners.
A Group II winning son of Tale of the Cat (USA), Trusting stands at a fee of $11,000 and his oldest progeny are three year-olds.
