The 2017 service fee for Vadamos has been set at $15,000 + GST by Rich Hill Stud off the back of widespread Australasian interest in the international Group One winner.
Farm principal John Thompson said he had received strong feedback on the high-class son of Monsun from visitors to the recent New Zealand Bloodstock National Yearling Sales at Karaka.
“The word we were getting from the Australians is that they think he is exactly the type of horse who should be standing in New Zealand and they will be coming over to buy his progeny.
“We think that represents great value for a stallion of his quality and there is a huge amount of interest in the horse.
“We took bookings to him during the sales so it certainly looks like he’s going to get an awful lot of support.”
