The Kris Lees-trained In Her Time has confirmed her place as one of Australia’s best sprinters with a brave win in the Group One Lightning Stakes at Flemington.
Put on the speed by jockey Corey Brown, In Her Time shared the lead in the centre of the track before holding off Osborne Bulls.
Sunlight, who contested the front with the winner, took the minor placing in the $750,000 race.
