Connections of the former Tony Pike-prepared Sin To Win are considering stakes options for the five-year-old.
He was successful over 2400m at Caulfield on Wednesday and co-trainer David Hayes said they will now consider a start in the Gr.3 Lexus Stakes (2500m) at Flemington on Derby Day.
The Gr.2 Zipping Classic (2400m) or the Listed Sandown Cup (3200m) a fortnight later are possible follow up races.
“We’ll see how he pulls up as he’s an immature horse in his first preparation for us,” Hayes said.
Sin To Win won three times for Pike and he has added a further two successes from his new quarters.
