From James Cummings
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 9, Coolmore Legacy Stakes) Alizee is coming off a seven day back up in top order. The tempo was against her and it was run on heavy ground which she isn’t as effective (in the Doncaster Mile last start). She worked really well on Tuesday morning. Hugh Bowman will be back aboard the 4YO mare. This is it for her current campaign and she’ll be in the paddock on Monday.
From Joe Pride
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 2, The Agency South Pacific Classic) The undefeated 3YO will go straight from a midweek win at Warwick Farm to Listed company at Randwick on Saturday. She has shown a level of ability in her two races that has convinced the stable to raise the bar sooner rather than later. She’s got acceleration and that’s actually quite rare. Fasika is the favourite for the South Pacific Classic at $4.80 fixed odds.

Horse: Scarlet Dream
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 6, Australian Oaks) Scarlet Dream didn’t handle the wet conditions last start in the Vinery Stud Stakes. It was a heavy 10 and she was back last and had to come wide. It’s never a good recipe at Rosehill and certainly not when it’s heavy and rail out six metres. Her work on Monday was as good as you’d like and a mile-and-a-half is what she’s been looking for, and a big track.
Horse: Nakeeta Jane
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 9, Coolmore Legacy Stakes) Bypassing the Australian Oaks in preference for the Group 1 Coolmore Legacy Stakes. She’s only lightly raced and her future probably sits between a mile and 2000m, so it’s not necessary to go to the Oaks just because she’s a three-year-old filly. And Nakeeta Jane has remarkably similar lead-up form to the past two Legacy winners, Alizee and Foxplay, as all three fillies finished 4th in the Vinery Stud Stakes.
