Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 1, Industry Celebration Race Day Hcp) He’s drawn a bit awkwardly (Barrier 8) so I’ll have to leave it to Bossy (Glen Boss). We can’t see how the course is playing because we’re in the first race. If he steps up and he happened to win comfortably I’d put him in the Golden Rose but he’s got to win otherwise you’re wasting your money.
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 8, ATC Thank You Trainers Hcp) She won at her first start at 1400m then she ran fourth in the Baillieu and then there’s last start. She’s shown that she has the potential. She’s come on, she still might not be streetwise like the older horses but she’s got the ability. The 1800m is much better, she’s bred to do that and plus. The other day she was drawn badly and was a bit slow out so (Louise Day) opted to pull her back. But she’ll most probably be midfield on Saturday.

Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 7, ATC Thank You Stable Staff Hcp) Resuming on Saturday. Physically she’s stronger but mentally she has to get a lot out of what she did last time going away. Saturday’s race shapes as an ideal campaign starting point for Sangria. She won a barrier trial comfortably for race jockey Tommy Berry and the additional fitness is important for the horse. Her style of racing, she is just full-on so they gas out quick if they’re not fit. I just gave her a soft trial but it was a really good trial. She towed Tommy the whole way and was keen to do more, so it’s good to see and she’s in good order.
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 9,ATC Thank You Owners Hcp) Having finished third at all three runs this preparation, Charretera will tackle the ATC Thank You Owners Handicap (1400m) in search of an overdue win. The gelding has not raced since doing his best work late in a leader-dominated race at Randwick on July 11 and has been placed in four of his five starts on heavy ground.

Horse: Black Magnum
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 7, ATC Thank You Stable Staff Hcp) Black Magnum finished 4th in a 1000m race on the Kensington track on July 18 when he appeared full of running in behind the leaders in the straight but was disappointed for a run. And there’s no doubt that Black Magnum should have won first-up. He has trained on really well and he goes well second-up. He’s won on heavy ground and will even appreciate getting to 1100 metres. So it’s the right race for him.
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 8, ATC Thank You Trainers Hcp) I think Fulmina will appreciate coming back to fillies and mares grade and I think she’s well-placed. She will handle the wet conditions.
