Horse: Sweet Deal
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 7, Australian Turf Club Hcp) Sweet Deal was narrowly denied a hat-trick when she went down in a two-horse war with Redouble two weeks ago. She’s been honest and running well. Her form has been great this time in. She can race forward but it doesn’t matter with her, she’s done well between runs.
Horse: Thy Kingdom Come
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 8, #Theraces Hcp) He’s always had the ability. We need to rule out the bad luck by going forward and making our own. He won on the Kensington track on 21st December, where the gelding drive to the lead and post a smashing 4-3/4 length win. The fact the runner-up Love Shack Baby has won twice since that race is encouraging. He’s done well since that run and he’s worked very well this week. The race is well within his grasp,
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 9, Autumn Carnival On Sale Hcp) If Randwick remains in the soft range on Saturday, the stable can see a big improvement with Reneged. He couldn’t keep up the other day so he’s gone to the 1800m second up and it will help that Randwick won’t be hard. He likes a soft track so that will help his chances. He’s unbeaten on heavy tracks but we’re not going to get there. He’s probably not an 80/1 chance over 1800m on a soft track.

Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 8, #Theraces Hcp) Turnberry hasn’t done anything wrong this campaign. (Robbie) Dolan’s 3kg drops him back to 58kg, and he has the rails alley. He is coming back 300m and he will be hard to beat.
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 8, #Theraces Hcp) Blinkers back on Chalmers, hoping they will help him focus a bit better. Drops 3.5kg from last start but has drawn the outside barrier in a field of 11 with the rail out a fair distance.

Horse: Monsieur Sisu
Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 9, Autumn Carnival On Sale Hcp) Monsieur Sisu comes into Saturday’s race after leading throughout to score at Warwick Farm last month, his third win from as many starts on heavy ground. But Cave is adamant the horse is more than a mudlark and that it’s just his ability to maintain a good cruising speed that helps him in rain-affected conditions. He can still do the same thing in the wet and a lot of horses can’t. That’s what makes him look like he’s just a wet weather horse but he’s not.

Message: (Saturday, Randwick Race 5, Summer Sprint) Has been off the scene since she was placed in the Scone Inglis Guineas in May. On the back of two trials, the mare is set to resume in the Summer Sprint on Saturday. The Hawkesbury trial was just to brush the cobwebs off, it was a bit more fair dinkum at Canterbury, It’s hard to gauge whether she is back to anywhere near her two-year-old form but her recent trial was more encouraging. She’s had a nice grounding and while 1000m is short of what would consider her best distance is, it gives her a chance to put in a nice run.
