Tavistock Fee Set

Cambridge Stud principal Sir Patrick Hogan has announced an increased 2015 service fee to Tavistock of $15,000 + GST.

“I’ve had input about the fee from the Tavistock Syndicate Management Committee in the last week and have also taken into consideration the Group One victory by Volkstok’n’barrel in the Rosehill Guineas,” he said.

Tavistock currently leads the New Zealand second season sires’ premiership, sits second on the 3YO stallion premiership and has had eight stakes performers from his first crop of runners. He is the sire of 9.41 percent stakes performers to first crop foals.

“The interest in nominations is already heavy and we’re expecting even more interest off the back of this announcement,” Sir Patrick said.

The announcement of fees for fellow Cambridge Stud stallions Keeper, Burgundy and Power will be made next week.
