Trinity River Steps Up To Metropolitan Grade On Wednesday At Warwick Farm

Last start winner Trinity River steps up to Metropolitan grade taking her place in race 5 #THERACES Handicap over 1600m at Warwick Farm on Wednesday.

The Lonhro mare atoned for her luckless run two starts ago with a strong all the way win over the distance at Gosford last start and has continued to please all concern in the lead up to her next assignment.

“I have been very happy with Trinity River, she has come through her last start win in good order and continues to race well and hold her form. I felt that she raced a touch keen at times during the run last start and I have elected to remove the blinkers on Wednesday in a bit to get her to settle,” added Kim (Waugh).

The mare came to the stable with some solid Melbourne form and has continue to race well, with the stable once again confident that Trinity River will again prove most competitive with any luck in running. Tommy Berry will again take the ride aboard Trinity River, with the pair jumping from barrier 10.
