The Chris Waller-trained Verry Elleegant has posted one of the easiest Group One wins of the Sydney autumn carnival in the Tancred Stakes at Rosehill.
Standing up the leaders a big start in the middle stages, Verry Elleegant moved into the 2400m weight-for-age race at the 600m and had her rivals covered at the 200m.
Under James McDonald, Verry Elleegant ran away to beat Mustajeer with last year’s winner Avilius finishing third.
