Fiveandahalfstar will not be seen during the spring with trainer Anthony Cummings reporting the dual Group 1 winner is still not fully over an injured fetlock sustained last autumn.

Cummings was hopeful Fiveandahalfstar would have recovered from the injury by now however instead the Hotel Grand gelding will likely continue spelling for the next month.
The four-year-old could return to work during August with the Hong Kong International race meeting in mind although a generous spell with a view towards the autumn looks the more probable path.
