Foreteller Set To Bounce Back In BMW

Chris Waller has decided to “put a line through” Foreteller’s run in the Ranvet Stakes.

Normally one of the most consistent middle-distance gallopers in the land, Foreteller put in a shocker when he ran second-last to Silent Achiever, beaten six and a half lengths.

When quizzed about the run this week, Waller said the Group 1 Ranvet Stakes simply didn’t turn out for the horse.

“It was a different sort of race that didn’t suit him.

“I’m putting a line through that run,” Waller said.

“Hopefully it will be run more suitably for him and he can return to his previous consistent form,” he added.

Foreteller went into the Ranvet Stakes one of the leading chances, on the back of an outstanding third to Fiorente and Green Moon in the Australian Cup, at Flemington on March 8.

Foreteller is marked a $13 chance in latest fixed-odds markets for the Group 1 $1.5 million The BMW at Rosehill Gardens this Saturday.
