Race 1:
Horse No. 4 STEEL WOOL (Morphettville 3/5/14) – Examined by vet and passed fit to start after horse was kicked by another runner behind gates.
Race 3:
Horse No. 3 DARCI MAGIC (Eagle Farm 26/4/14) – Raced wide without cover throughout.
Horse No. 11 STELLARIZED (Bendigo 23/4/14) – Held up making the home turn.
Race 4:
Horse No. 11 KRAFTWERK (Flemington 25/4/14) – Near the 400m was steadied from heels when inclined to lay in.
Horse No. 12 BLACKBOARD SPECIAL (Eagle Farm 19/4/14) – Bumped on jumping. Laid in behind heels near the 350m and bumped another runner near the 250m.
Race 7:
Horse No. 10 TIMELESS PRINCE (Eagle Farm 5/4/14) – Bumped near the 300m.
Race 8:
Horse No. 5 ANIMOSO (Sandown 26/4/14) – Checked off heels passing the 800m, became unbalanced and then raced wide thereafter. Post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
