Please note the following interstate stewards extract for the Royal Randwick race meeting on Saturday, 21st September 2013.
RACE 1:-
Horse No.10 – KUKLA (NZ) (Morphettville 31/8/2013): Rider explained his instructions were to attempt to obtain a position off the pace with cover but due to the lack of pace in the event he had no option and led by default. He added he had hoped that runner, which improved to his outside mid-race, would go forward and provide him with cover but this did not eventuate. He was also of the opinion the mare may not have been suited to the track conditions and finished the race off in a disappointing manner. Post-race veterinary examination did not reveal any abnormalities.
