Please be advised of the following interstate stewards extracts for Wagga on Friday.
Wagga Wagga – Friday 2 May 2014
Race 5:
Horse No. 11 FRENCH TUSSON (Caulfield 21/04/2014): Near the 400m geld, which had been held up, then had to be checked when tightened for room. Near the 50m had to be eased when disappointed for a run.
Race 6:
Horse No. 9 DEEMING (Sandown Lakeside 16/04/2014) Rider advised that he raced further forward than planned after having begun well and in preference to being caught wide.
Race 7:
Horse No 1 NIBLICK (Sandown Hillside 26/04/2014): Approaching the 100m geld, which was laying out, shifted out across the heels and had to be checked.
Horse No 3 TRADE COMMISSIONER (IRE) (Sandown Hillside 26/04/2014) Prior to the commencement of the meeting connections advised that geld would be ridden quieter today in an effort to get the gelding to settle and finish the race off; Geld settled at the rear of the field.
Horse No. 14 MURDOCH’S JOY (Tatura 19/04/2014) Geld, which was late arriving on course due to transport difficulties, was examined by the Club’s Veterinary Surgeon who reported no abnormalities.
