Please note the following interstate stewards extracts for the Royal Randwick race meeting on Saturday, 7th September 2013.
Race 3
Number 3 – Mrs Onassis (Caufield 13/7/2013) Rider of the Mare, which performed below market expectations, explained that in his opinion the mare failed to run as expected first up and also failed to handle today’s track conditions. A post race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
Race 3
Number 5 – Delago Bolt (Eagle Farm 10/8/2013) Held up rounding the home turn and then shifted out after leaving the 400m to obtain clear running.

Number 6 – Hooked (Eagle Farm 8/6/2013) Overraced in the early and middle stages
Number 7 – Cannyzing (Eagle Farm 24/8/2013) Rider reported that she was unable to test her mount with her normal vigour due to the horse hanging in under pressure

Number 14 – Transporter (Eagle Farm 8/6/2013) Slow to begin.
Race 8
Number 1 – Sharnee Rose (Ipswich 15/6/2013) Stewards sought an explanation from regarding the performance of the mare. Rider stated that he was obliged to work hard in the early stages in order to cross runners and obtain a position one off outside the leader. He added that following this, from the 700m the mare was not travelling well and compounded badly over the final 400m. Trainer voiced his disappointment in the mares effort. Stable reported pulled up well and would be spelled. A post race veterinary examination failed to reveal any significant abnormalities.
