Please note the following interstate stewards extracts for the Rosehill Gardens race meeting on Saturday, 31st August 2013.
RACE 1:-
Horse No.3 – GREAT ESTEEM (Flemington 10/8/2013): Was bumped near the 500m. When questioned, the rider explained that the colt was not suited by the slow tempo, however, was satisfied with the way his mount finished the race off. A post-race veterinary examination revealed no obvious abnormalities.
RACE 4:-
Horse No.5 – RED TYPHOON (Flemington 10/8/2013): A post-race veterinary examination of the horse revealed no abnormalities.
Horse No.8 – TANAH LOT (NZ) (Moonee Valley 24/8/2013): Was slow to begin.
RACE 5:-
Horse No.8 – BOBAN (Eagle Farm 1/6/2013): Held up for clear running in the early part of the straight and had to alter course after passing the 300m, in order to improve.
RACE 6:-
Horse No.3 – ZOUSTAR (Eagle Farm 8/6/2013): Was held up in the early part of the straight and near the 300m had to angle out in order to improve.
