Please note the following interstate stewards extracts for the Warwick Farm race meeting on Wednesday, 14th August 2013.
RACE 5:-
Horse No.1. SUPREME WARRIOR (NZ) (Sandown-Lakeside 28/7/2013): Began awkwardly and then was eased off heels. Near the 1300m was severely checked off heels when over racing and then continued to race ungenerously in the middle stages. Rider explained that after mount was not the best away he found himself racing further back than he had anticipated and this may have been detrimental to the horses chances as it races further forward. Added in the early and middle stages mount over raced. Post-race veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities.
RACE 6:-
Horse No.12. WORDS ARE WEAPONS (Morphettvile 27/7/2013): Laid in when under pressure in the straight.
