The Listed $200,000 Kia Winter Cup continues the Australian Turf Club’s series of middle distance and staying races on a 10-race card at Rosehill Gardens this Saturday.
The 2400m event comes off the back of last week’s rescheduled Lord Mayor’s Cup and a fortnight ahead of another Listed feature in the WJ McKell Cup over 2000m and Stayer’s Cup over 2400m at Rosehill Gardens.
Hopeful trained by Annabel Neasham and ridden by Keagan Latham opens an early well-supported $3.60-$3.20 TAB favourite in the Kia Winter Cup off the back of a strong second in last Saturday’s Lord Mayor’s Cup.
The Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott trained Sir Lucan ($3.60-$3.80 TAB) also backs up from the same race with Adam Hyeronimus aboard.
Bonny Ezra, who ran second in this race two years ago, is a $6-$6.50 third TAB pick for 13-time champion Sydney trainer Chris Waller.
Saturday continues the ATC’s new Winter Long Lunch – a $155 three-course dining sensation in Rosehill Gardens’ premium Winning Post restaurant.
Full details of Saturday’s offer are available here.
The Winter Long Lunch will run until 31 August and is available for both ATC Members and non-members.
