His Majesty and Hetty Heights will both be looking to atone for their luckless runs in the final of the Provincial Championships a fortnight ago when they take their places in the consecutive races at Rosehill on Saturday.
“Both horses were very brave at Randwick last start and have come through their runs in good order. His Majesty wasn’t able to accelerate in the shifting surface whilst Hetty Heights got back further than expected and flew late with both horses recording exceptionally fast sectionals. Both His Majesty and Hetty Heights have drawn good gates and with the improved track conditions come Saturday I’m sure they will be very competitive,” added Kim (Waugh).
With Blake Shinn riding in Hong Kong over the weekend Kim has secured the services of inform jockey Brenton Avdulla who will take the reins of His Majesty in race 7 Bowermans Office Furniture Hcp over 1500m whilst Brenton also continues his association with bonny mare Hetty Heights in race 8 McGrath Estate Agents Hcp over 1350m.
