The Group 1 winning mare Norzita has been ruled out of the spring after suffering a tendon injury.
Having nominated for this Saturday’s Tramway Handicap (1400m), it was discovered that Norzita has sustained a tendon injury to her off foreleg following a vet inspection after trackwork this morning .
The severity of the injury is expected to rule her out for the next 12 months.
Norzita will undergo stem cell therapy in a bid to be ready for the 2014 spring.
