Rosehill Gardens Racecourse Manager, Lindsay Murphy, has been watering the track every day this week.
“How quickly things change.
“A month ago we were under water and now we’re watering every day, and I’ll be putting another couple of mls on again today,” Murphy said this morning.
“It’s a ‘good 3’ now and that’s where we’ll be tomorrow too.
“The weather here is perfect – high 20’s today and with some more irrigation today the track will be perfect tomorrow,” Murphy added.
He said he had put the false rail out to the six metre position, after having been in the two metre and three metre positions at the previous two meetings.
