Group One winner Ruud Awakening will make her four-year-old debut later this month.
She was to have resumed at Ellerslie on Melbourne Cup day, but trainer Stephen Marsh wasn’t prepared to step her out on rain-affected going.
“She needs a good track and I didn’t want to risk her on a Dead 6 so she’ll run fresh-up in the Counties Bowl over 1100 metres,” trainer Stephen Marsh said.
The Listed event will be run at the Counties meeting, which has been transferred to Avondale, on November 22.
