Tigers Legends & Fans Roar Into Rosehill With Free Entry Offer

Sydney’s world-class racing joins with one of National Rugby League’s most popular clubs at Rosehill Gardens this Saturday as Australian Turf Club hosts the inaugural Wests Tigers Legends Raceday.

Entry to Rosehill Gardens this Saturday for a 10-race card is free for all Wests Tigers Members who provide proof of membership at the gates, opening from 10am.

A number of Wests Tigers stars including former Kangaroos Tim Brasher and Chris Lawrence and teammate Shane Walker will be among players on course to meet with fans.

The players will be available for a meet and greet with fans at new Legends Sports Bar in the public spaces of the Ground Floor of the JR Fleming Grandstand from 12.15pm.

Wests Tigers, partners, members and guests will also enjoy a function in Rosehill Gardens award-winning Grand Pavilion.

Wests Tigers Head of Fan Engagement, Rachel Cummins said the Club was thrilled to join with the Australian Turf Club around Sydney’s west and urged fans to meet some rugby league legends.

“We’re always trying to give our Wests Tigers Members some added value and I’m sure there will be many who take advantage of the free entry offer on Saturday,” Ms Cummins said.

“We’ve also got our Legends Raceday event happening at Rosehill Gardens to add to the day’s Wests Tigers theme.”

The 10-race card at Rosehill Gardens has attracted 147 entries and coincides with the first Saturday meeting of new minimum prizemoney levels for Sydney metropolitan meetings. Races each Saturday will be worth a minimum of $150,000 (excluding Midway and TAB Highway races).
