Racing NSW Stewards advise that KELINNI, which was scheduled to run in Race 7 (Bacardi Hill Stakes) at Royal Randwick on Saturday (21st September), suffered a bout of colic overnight and was required to be treated with anti-inflammatories and as such has been scratched from that event.
Trainer Chris Waller indicated it was his intention to run Kelinni in the Craven Plate on October 5 which would enable the stable to continue on his Caulfield and Melbourne Cup path.
Mr Waller was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to Kelinni being permitted to race again.
Trainer Chris Waller has reported to Racing NSW Stewards that BEATEN UP will be withdrawn from the Bacardi Hill Stakes at Royal Randwick on Saturday (21st September) due to a tendon strain.
