As evidenced in the Rosehill Gardens Supplementary Stewards Report of 3 August 2013, trainer Kevin Moses had advised that following the last placed performance of NANTUCKET BAY (USA), which competed in Race 2 at Gosford on 1 August 2013, the gelding would be spelled.
Mr Moses has since advised Racing NSW Stewards that shortly following the Gosford race, Nantucket Bay had been transported to a spelling farm but as the gelding had been thriving, the decision was taken to return Nantucket Bay to his stables on Monday, 12 August 2013.
He added that Nantucket Bay pleased him in its exercise since Monday and will gallop the horse on Friday morning (16 August) ahead of its engagement in Race 6 (Blake Shinn Premier Jockey Benchmark 58 Hcp, 2340m) at Goulburn on Monday, 19 August 2013.
