Sydney’s premier trainer Chris Waller in unlikely to have a runner in Friday’s listed $200,000 Scone Cup (1600m).
Waller has nominated both Said Com and Tromso for the Cup, but (Monday) told Racing Network only Said Com was a possibility to run.
“And he’s only 50-50 to be honest,” he said.
“I’d say we’re unlikely to have a runner in the Scone Cup.
“It all depends on what pays up for the race.
“Maybe Said Com, but he’s only 50/50, we’ll just see what’s left in and make a decision later in the week,” he added.
Scone will be the centre of NSW racing on Friday and Saturday with their two-day racing extravaganza, starting with the Scone Cup meeting on Friday and the huge Scone Guineas stand-alone meeting on Saturday.
