Sydney three-year-old Whittington will wear blinkers in Saturday’s (17th August) Group 3 $125,000 Smithfield RSL Club San Domenico Stakes (1100m) at Rosehill Gardens.
Trainer Gai Waterhouse has decided the horse needs the blinkers for his first-up assignment, with Waterhouse having trialled Whittington twice in preparation for his season’s opener.
