Australian Guineas Heroine Retired After Leg Fracture

Mosheen, the Australian and Randwick Guineas winner has fractured a hind leg in the Tristarc Stakes at Caulfield last Saturday and will retire from racing immediately.

Mosheen has raced 18 times for 8 wins and 5 placings, including 4 Group 1 wins.

Mosheen will go to Japan early next year to begin her stud career as Katsumi Yoshida, owner of Japan’s No.1 stud farm, the Shadai Stallion Station, has purchased a half share in Mosheen. It is likely Mosheen will be mated with Shadai’s stallion, Deep Impact.
