Victoria Racing Club has announced that Premier Sydney trainer Chris Waller will lease 10 boxes at Flemington from mid February. The number of boxes may expand during carnivals.
Waller said last month he plans to travel more horses to Victoria in the future.
“I am proud and excited to be given this opportunity at Flemington to become a part of the Victorian racing scene,” he said.
Flemington has now housed 22 training stables as the VRC has recently also granted 50 boxes to Anthony Freedman, whom has decided to close down his Markdel stable at Rye.
