Gosford races have been postponed today at 2.20pm with temperatures of 43.5 degrees Celcius and a Wet Bulb Globe Thermometer reading of 28.7 degrees. This exceeds the level provided for in the Racing NSW Hot Weather policy and after taking advice from the vets on course the Stewards have postponed the meeting in the interests of the safety and welfare of horses and participants.
