Summation of Schedule Changes – Racing QLD

Please note the Eagle Farm meeting on Wednesday,  30th of January, 2013 will still proceed at this stage, track and weather permitting. Also, due to so many people being without power, acceptances had been delayed until 11am today.

The nominations for Ipswich – Friday, 1st of February and Doomben – Saturday, 2nd of February will now close at 9am, Tuesday 29th of January.

Please note the following program changes:

IPSWICH – Friday, 2nd of February, 2013 – nominations to close at 9am tomorrow (Tuesday, 29th of January, 2013)

·  Benchmark 70 Handicap of $12,000 over 2150m
·  2yo Maiden Plate of $10,000 plus QTIS over 1100m.

DOOMBEN – Saturday, 2nd of February, 2013 – nominations to close at 9am tomorrow (Tuesday, 29th of January, 2013)

·  The Nudgee Quality – $100,000 Listed Quality Handicap for Fillies & Mares over 1200m (fresh nominations to be taken)
·  3yo Handicap of $50,000 plus QTIS over 1200m

Racing Queensland advises that other races this coming week may be divided if sufficient acceptances are received.

ROCKHAMPTON Transferred to MACKAY
Due to flooding at Callaghan Park, the Rockhampton Jockey Club race meeting scheduled for Thursday 31st January 2013 has been transferred to be conducted at Mackay.

The nine race program has attracted 138 nominations.

This transfer of venues has resulted in some minor amendments to distances which are:

·         Open Handicap 1100m (previously 1050m)
·         Class 5 Handicap 1100m (previously 970m)
·         Class 3 Plate 1560m (previously 1600m)
·         Maiden Plate 1100m (previously 1050m)
·         QTIS 2yo Handicap 1100m (previously 1050m)

Acceptances will now close at 11am tomorrow (Tuesday, 29th of January, 2013)

A travel rebate of $200 per horse will be paid to all starters where travel of 200 kilometres or further is undertaken.
