Early Melbourne Cup favourite (fixed odds market) Puissance de Lune will have a 1000m barrier trial at Ballarat tomorrow.
Trainer Darren Weir is thrilled with the progression of Puissance de Lune following a jump out at Terang.
The French import has not raced since annihilated a top field in the 2500m Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Flemington last Spring.
Puissance de Lune will resume in the Blamey Stakes at Flemington on March 9. That run will decide if he has another run or spells for the Spring.
