Hulking sprinter Hay List has been scratched from Saturday’s Group 1 The Galaxy (1100m) at Rosehill due to a hoof injury.
Trainer John McNair reported that Hay List was suffering an ongoing issue with his near side hoof, but the gelding would continue with the current preparation
McNair said Hay List will now head towards the Group 1 T.J. Smith Stakes (1200m) on April 13, in which he will likely renew his rivalry with champion mare Black Caviar
