Glen Boss suspended for 25 meetings

Leading Melbourne jockey Glen Boss has been suspended for 25 meetings after the three time Melbourne Cup winning jockey admitted responsibility over a fall at Mornington last week which led to the Injury of fellow jockey Kane Bradley.

Boss pleaded guilty to the careless riding charge, admitting it was an outward shift from him aboard Gold Heist, approaching the 300m which led to Bradley’s mount Rock It Ruby being tightened between runners.

Boss made no excuses for his actions saying it was quite evidently his sole responsibility and he is happy Kane came out of it a lot better then it could have been.

Boss will be back in time for Monash Stakes day at Caulfield on July 13, currently leading the Melbourne jockeys’ title by 20 wins over Luke Nolen.
