Jamie Kah will reunite with star galloper Zaaki in Saturday’s Group 1 Champions’ Stakes at Flemington.
The star jockey, who has ridden three winners for the Melbourne Cup Carnival so far, hasn’t sat on Zaaki since finishing third in the Group 1 Winx Stakes in August.
The Annabel Neasham-trained galloper sticks at the 2000m after his sixth place finish behind Romantic Warrior in the Cox Plate.
He will jump from barrier 10.
Luckless Cox Plate runner Duais and fellow competitors Pinstriped and Buckaroo also head to the race.
West Wind Blows, who finished behind Melbourne Cup winner Without A Fight, drops from the 2400m to the 2000 for the $3m Group 1.
New Zealand star Prowess has also accepted with Cup-winning jockey Mark Zahra booked to ride from barrier four.
