Retiring champion Damien Oliver has secured the final Group 1 ride of his career.
Oliver will ride the Gai Waterhouse and Adrian Bott-trained Zoumon in the G1 Northerly Stakes on December 9.
The five-year-old, who finished second at his most recent start in the Five Diamonds earlier this month, will be a late nomination for the race at Ascot.
Bott confirmed to Racing.com on Tuesday that the stable has booked Oliver on Zoumon.
Zoumon is currently a $15 chance with bookies. Zaaki is currently a $2.70 favourite for the race, ahead of local Keshi Boom and Victorian raider Tuvalu.
Oliver returns from suspension this weekend, where he will ride Triple Missile in the Winterbottom Stakes for Lindsey Smith.
His final race meeting will be on Gold Rush Day on December 16.
