Second race favourite Lord Kanaloa has won Japan’s Group 1 Sprinters Stakes 1200m on Sunday (30/09/12) at Nakayama and in the process denying stablemate Curren Chan for winning her 3rd Group 1 race in a row. In a very fast run race which happend to break the course record in 1:06.7, both Lord Kanaloa and Curren Chan settled mid-field and made their run together rounding the home turn. The two Hong Kong horses, Lucky Nine and Little Bridge finished 5th and 10th respectively.
