Bad Luck Continues With Amelia’s Dream Family

The first foal of the former brilliant 2 year old Amelia’s Dream who fractured a hock during a trial at Warwick Farm last Friday was euthanized.

The filly, named ‘Forget Me Not’, was purchased for $910.000 in the Australian Easter Yearling sale earlier this year.

Amelia’s Dream won the Silver Slipper by 6 lengths in 2008 and was immediately installed as the Golden Slipper favourite. However, injury also curtail Amelia’s Dream career as she was found to have suffered sesamoid fracture to the near fore leg shortly after her Silver Slipper victory.
