Impressive Wyong Magic Million 2YO Classic winner Assail has kept the ball rolling for Arrowfield Stud sire Charge Forward (Red Ransom x Sydney’s Dream, by Bletchingly).
So impressive was Assail’s performance she has been promoted to the top of betting for the Gold Coast Magic Million 2YO Classic next month.
The son of Red Ransom has shown tremendous success as an outcross for Danehill’s genetics. His two other stakeswinners this season are both from mares by sons of Danehill, including the Maribyrnong Plate winner Direct Charge (Charge Forward x Lady Of Choice, by Redoute’s Choice) and the Inglis Banner Stakes winner Crack A Roadie (Charge Forward x Road to Damascus, by Flying Spur).
Assail is the 11th stakeswinner for Charge Forward, who holds the lead on the 2YO sires table with prizemoney of $605,100, ahead of notable juvenile sires Snitzel and Not A Single Doubt. Charge Forward’s 2012 service fee is $24,750.
