Darley Stud has reported that a half sister to Pierro was born this week. Pierro’s dam, Miss Right Note, gave birth to the Street Cry filly on Monday morning. Miss Right Note will be sent back to be mated with Lonhro, Pierro’s sire, this spring. We’ll all be looking forward to see the birth of Pierro’s full brother or sister next year.
On a side note, Pierro is due to have a crucial gallop on Saturday morning before he goes down to Melbourne to run in the Bill Stutt Stakes at Mooney Valley. Gai Waterhouse wants Pierro to get some racing experience at the tight turning track before his Cox Plate mission.
