Trainer Grahame Begg has confirmed that Secret Admirer will head down to Melbourne for the Caulfield Cup after her encouraging run in the Epsom last Saturday. While Fat Al lead the Epsom field from start to finish, Secret Admirer unwinded her run down the middle of the track from the back of the field. She finished 5th in the Epsom and was beaten less than 2.5 lengths. Secret Admirer was racing as if she was looking for further. The Caulfield Cup ride on Secret Admirer is up for grab as Begg said a decision on a Caulfield Cup jockey wouldn’t be made for a few days.
Secret Admirer has been allotted 53kg for the Caulfield Cup and is a $51.00 chance at the fixed odds market.
