The Melbourne Racing Club has received 49 third declarations for the 2013 renewal of the Patinack Farm Blue Diamond Stakes ($1.015 million, 1200 metres, Group 1) with Victoria’s premier juvenile race less than four weeks away.
However, that number does not include current Blue Diamond favourite Miracles Of Life, the dominant $3.40 favourite in the Blue Diamond fixed odds market.
Connections of Miracles Of Life will be required to pay a late entry fee of $55,000 by noon (AEST) on Monday February 18 to run in the February 23 classic.
