Star colt Pierro was flying at track work this morning at Flemington. The Waterhouse trained 3 year old worked in blinkers over 1200m coming home in 33.88 secs for the last 600m and 21.35 secs for the last 400m. That looked like a winning gallop and Pierro will be very hard to beat in the Caulfield Guineas on Saturday.
