Racing Victoria chief handicapper Greg Carpenter has issued a 1kg penalty to Vatuvei in the Melbourne Cup for winning last Saturday’s Drake International Cup (formerly known as the Mooney Valley Cup).
The Peter Moody trained 4 year old gelding moves to 34th in the order of entry after the release of penalty which raises his weight from 50kg to 51kg.
