This morning, Sky Sports Radio has reported that the Victoria Derby winner Fiveandahalfstar and 4th placegetter Hvasstan will both aim at the Australian Derby next autumn. However Mark Kavanagh has indicated that Derby runner up Super Cool will head towards a different path and will not be aiming at the Australian Derby.
Cox Plate winner Ocean Park has run his last race this Spring and will return to New Zealand. And Jake Stephens, trainer of Mackinnon Stakes winner Alcopop, said the gelding will bypass the autumn carnival and will instead be aiming at another spring campaign next year.
