Perth trainer Adam Durrant has been fined $10,000 after being found guilty by Racing Victoria stewards of conduct that could have breached the rules of racing.
Compliance Assurance Team stewards raided on stables housing Mr Moet before the gelding left for Caulfield last Saturday where he ran second in the Peter Young Stakes. No horse is allowed to receive treatment on raceday, and stewards say Adam Durrant moved towards Mr Moët last Saturday with a syringe intending to administer an alkanilzing treatment.
Durrant will weigh up for an appeal.
