Alcopop And Sea Siren Flew Out Yesterday For The Hong Kong International Races

Jake Stephens trained Alcopop was scheduled to fly out yesterday afternoon for the Hong Kong Internationa races at Sha Tin on Sunday week (9th December). On the same flight would be fellow Aussie challenger Sea Siren and French stayer Dunaden.

The John O’Shea trained Sea Siren will contest the International Sprints 1200m, while Alcopop will line up in the Hong Kong Inernational Cup 2000m.

Reigning Caulfield Cup winner will try to defend his crown in the International Vase 2400m, a race he won last year after his Melbourne Cup success.

Being a Melbourne trained horse, Alcopop will have to overcome the clockwise racing in Hong Kong as he had failed to run on in his two previous attempt in that direction.
