Trainer Jason Warren has confirmed that Group 1 The Galaxy winner Bel Sprinter will be on a plane on Sunday and are all set to run in the G1 KrisFlyer International Sprint at Kranji in Singapore on May 19.
“The horse will fly to Singapore next Sunday and races the following Sunday night,” Warren said.
After underwent throat surgery late last year, the 5YO gelding has made a full recovery claiming the Group 1 The Galaxy (1100m) 1st up beating the very good Gerald Ryan-trained filly Snitzerland by 3 lengths. Bel Sprinter followed that effort up by finishing 3rd to champion mare Black Caviar in the TJ Smith Stakes (1200m).
The gelding is in tip top form and we all hope he’ll make Australia proud in the Group 1 KrisFlyer International Sprint on Sunday week.
