It may well be the most anticipated race day gallop ever.
Amazingly it is nearly a year since Black Caviar’s last race in Melbourne, when she won the Lightning Stakes at Flemington on February 10 last year.
On Saturday at Caulfield, the undefeated mare will have, as trainer Peter Moody puts it, ‘a spin’ between races and the gallop will attract huge attention from both the public and media.
”There is a real buzz about the day already and we are really looking forward to welcoming back Black Caviar,” said Melbourne Racing Club Media Manager Jake Norton.
There are four listed races on the programme but there is no doubt what the main attraction will be.
